Our Journey
A journey of growth, expertise, and commitment that has shaped our role in supporting Indonesia’s industrial sector
PT Bhumi Phala Perkasa was established by Mr. Eka Santoso, Mr. Charles van Santen and Mr. Thomas Aquinas, in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. We started with a small but dedicated team, providing general services and supplies to the oil, gas and mining industries.
A new office and workshop was built to accommodate bigger projects, in Batakan area. New partnerships with different principals were made, further expanding our business in supplying specialized items into the industries.
As our business grew, so did our numbers. We established even more partnerships with foreign companies, expanding our market.
BPP ventured outside of Kalimantan, and started to expand the business in other parts of Indonesia; North Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and Papua. We delved in all sorts of contracts; construction, equipment maintenance, item supplies, etc. This was when we set up our branch in Jakarta.
BPP continued to bolster its reputation, and started to undertake major contracts in the oil and gas industry all across Indonesia, mainly for on/offshore site operations, maintenance & overhauls of critical machineries, and supplies of specialized equipment.
With even more partnerships, BPP continues to strive to be the best service company in Indonesia’s oil and gas industry, being involved in even more crucial jobs that demand professional handling. We evolve continuously, embracing new challenges and preparing ourselves for the opportunities ahead.
